What are Corneal Diseases & Problems?
Cornea आंख का transparent “window” है—यहीं से light अंदर जाती है। जब cornea में infection (keratitis), ulcer, allergy, dryness, चोट, या scar/opacity होता है, तो vision blur, redness, watering, irritation, photophobia (रोशनी से तकलीफ) और pain हो सकता है। कुछ cases में early treatment से complication रोका जा सकता है—इसलिए delay नहीं करना चाहिए।
High-risk situations: contact lens misuse, आंख में चोट/foreign body, uncontrolled diabetes,
या self-medication (खासकर steroid drops) cornea को नुकसान पहुँचा सकते हैं।
